Venue Reports 2010
May 2nd 2010: The weather was horrible, it was cold, wet and cold... with cold spells.. 4 degrees at sunrise. In May! And lots and lots of windsurfers doing absolutely fantastic things for W4CR....

Through your generosity, and that of those who sponsored you, we are on our way to the £50,000 target. A huge thanks to everyone who took part and those that helped.... without you the number would be zero!

"Having led the flotilla out at 0537hrs I went back on the water just after 6pm and sailed for over 2 hours into the final sunset rays of gold with Dan Aze and "led them back".

Dan had stayed on the water continuosly (throughout the gusty winds and rain) and completed his Justgiving challenge (15 hours of sailing). Absolutely fantastic.

To me, "commitment and dedication" by my fellow trustees, the venue hosts and every sailor (and those that sponsored them or donated) sums up, not only the day, but the enthusiasm for our sport.

A big thank you to everyone....David "
